Solutions for large hydrogen refueling stations
Hydrogen is a key element in the green energy transition. Together with you, we are on a mission to deliver the most cost-efficient hydrogen compression package. To allow wide use of hydrogen for mobility and trailer filling, equipment must evolve from small demonstration projects into industrialized and efficient solutions, enabling you to meet your total cost of ownership expectations. Reciprocating compressors play a key role in achieving this goal. We have the technology to enable the most economic and reliable package for high pressure hydrogen compression.
By focusing on the right criteria, we can provide solutions to industry needs like:
- One standardized compressor package that can operate with different kinds of hydrogen supplies and still meet full target capacity ∙
- A flexible hydrogen compressor package that can operate within a range of 10% to 100% of the compressor design capacity
- A scalable solution that allows to increase the compressor capacity without hardware upgrades to enable future capacity upgrades of the application
Our RDI system ensures reliable, fast and efficient refueling of hydrogen. It provides a hydrogen-fueled land vehicle with the ability to send data to a hydrogen refueling station via an infrared communication link during the refueling process. It complies with the SAE J2799 standard. Information such as tank type, tank volume, measured pressure and temperature, etc., is transmitted unidirectionally from the vehicle to the station. The RDI system enables the station to fill the vehicle's hydrogen storage tank to the tank's nominal pressure in about three minutes, safely and without the temperature of the gas in the storage tank getting too hot.
Newson Gale has been a provider of grounding and equipotential bonding solutions for HAZLOC/EX hazardous locations for over 30 years.
